Santiago Atitlan Embroidery Panel #5

These panels are made in the Tzutujil Maya Village of Santiago Atitlan, located on Lake Atitlan in Guatemala's southern highlands. They are all embroidered by hand on a cloth panel that was woven on a backstrap loom. Each is unique.

This particular panel depicts a copper and silver checkered cat, and measures 14 inches tall and 16 inches wide. It is new and in very good and clean condition.
